Site Changes, A Bit on A Channel's Scanlation Future

If you've been checking lately (as if...) I've been playing with a bit of the site. We now have a banner of sorts and a Facebook page. At first I was against the idea of a group page because I could have decided to stop scanlating, but it seems I'm stable now. As for A Channel, there's 3 pages left. I'm gonna play a little cooler with the series from now on since it looks like J-Yutanpo wants to release the second tankoubon. I'm not dropping it but I'll start to release chapters after the second volume and the ones with colour in it if that happens (the release of the tankoubon was announced in the lastest chapter). Finally, if that does come to happen and I catch up with the A Channel releases, I'll probably try looking at Double J.

Megaupload Rejection

I'll make it short: MU is giving me an issue. So for now, I'm retiring it for Depositfiles. If MU works well with me again in the future, maybe I'll bring it back up.

Batoto Integration

We are now set up in Batoto! It took awhile since I got whisked to Niagara. Now Yurumates will be available to read there. Unfortunately, I will not upload A Channel there. I do not have my own version of vol. 1 or want to upload only the second part of the series on Batoto. Either I would have to remake the missing chapters or someone get J-Yutanpo to upload it. Only the future will tell.

Yurumates Chapter 1

Pretty late night now. I bribed my TL to translate chapter 1 for me. While it was done before, I'm starting to put Yurumates on Batoto now. Now with Yurumates outta the way for now, I can start working on A Channel only again (once I find a break from summer school). Download links are... you know where.

Yurumates Chapter 3

Finally, I'm done. Never thought summer school could make 6 pages so hard. In other news, Yurumates is getting adapted into another video. Google it now and you'll find a PV (or something like that) easily.

I'll be releasing some A Channel or redoing Yurumates c1 next so keep an eye out on that. I might also start using Batoto. Download links are in the project page as expected.

Summer School (the dread!)

Well, tomorrow's the start of a new challenge for me. As the title says, I have summer school. (Before you ask, it ain't cuz I failed something.) I don't plan on stopping releases, but speed is gonna go down a lot. For good news, I have about 3 pages left of Yurumate's third chapter before I start working on A Channel again. My next post will be when it's out.

Yurumates Chapter 2

I'll be blunt with you: this ain't a great chapter. I find most the jokes "off", "vague", or need the knowledge of Japanese habits. Luckily, the next chapter is better. For those who want to skip ahead, google the OVA (it follows the manga exactly). I'll probably do one more chapter of Yurumates before releasing some A Channel. When summer school hits (or I get a PS3), it'll be harder to push releases.

I should also mention, the quality will drop in Yurumates. I consider this a side-project, second to A Channel. The time spent working on this series won't be as much as my main project.
